A Taste of Spring - "Basil Fried Quinoa" (On-site Drop-in Cooking Demonstration)

Join Kendra for this quick, drop-in cooking demonstration that will show you how to create a kitchen staple “Basil Fried Quinoa.” The dish is filled with aromatics, herbs, and vegetables. You will leave the demonstration inspired to use your favorite spring vegetables and cook them to perfection with curry and basil. 

Please note: This is a drop-in experience and will be repeated several times over the course of the designated program time.

Kendra Hazel is an herb enthusiast, urban garden educator, and plant-based chef who founded Green Things Work in 2015, a wellness brand inspired by her passion for herbs, nature, and healthy living. Her journey began at Florida A&M University, where a health science degree and a business management course sparked the creation of her brand through vegan food tastings and wellness education for her peers. Today, Kendra continues to share her knowledge and love for plant-based living, helping others embrace holistic health through food, herbs, and mindful practices.
