Join Paul and Christopher as they explore the history and technology related to the world of plant musicians and sound designers. During this online demonstration they will share some of their sound experiments while considering what it means to have an artistic collaboration with a tropical plant.

About the presenter

Dr. Paul Miller
Dr. Paul V. Miller has produced several live interactive sound installations with plants and published in academic journals about his work. He is an active musician and serves an Associate Professor of Music at Duquesne University.
Christopher Cox
Christopher Cox is a graduate of the Duquesne University Mary Pappert School of Music in Trumpet Performance and currently works as an organ builder with the Luley Organ Company in Pittsburgh, PA.
