Family Program: Flower to Fruit: A Pollination Journey (On-site Drop-in Program)

Join Lilly and investigate the differences in plants before and after pollination! In this drop-in program, dissect a flower to learn about its different parts and how these components attract and interact with pollinators. Watch a fruit dissection demonstration to see how the papaya flower develops into the papaya fruit after pollination. Discuss adaptations of plants that facilitate pollination and appreciate the pollinators that help plants reproduce.
