Summer Evening Hours at the Garden (On-site Special Event)

Friends of the U.S. Botanic Garden
Join us for extended evening hours this summer at the U.S. Botanic Garden! On the third Thursday of each month – June 18, July 16, August 20, and September 17, 2026 –  the Conservatory will stay open until 8 p.m. for visitors to explore the USBG plant collection while enjoying live music and refreshments at our four extended evening hour events.

Beginning at 5 p.m., enjoy live music by Night Hawk as you explore the Conservatory. Night Hawk is an American indie rock band with delicate guitar work, enchanting harmonies, and clear-eyed lyricism. The band blends mellifluous violin and finger-style guitar with the raw energy of barnstorming indie and alternative rock, creating a sonic palette that is as expansive as it is emotionally precise.

In partnership with the Friends of the U.S. Botanic Garden, local vendors Vintage Views will have lemonade, botanical non-alcoholic mocktails, and snacks available for purchase. Additionally, local frozen treat vendor Here’s The Scoop will have gourmet ice cream and non-dairy sorbet available for purchase.

This event is offered in collaboration with the Friends of the U.S. Botanic Garden. If you're interested in supporting educational programs and events through a donation to the Friends of the U.S. Botanic Garden, click here
